Mark is co-founder of Emutex. He graduated as an Electronic Engineer in the University of Limerick in 1991. He began his career in Industrial Computing Machines (Ireland) where he developed and commissioned industrial automation and control applications for the animal feed processing industry. In 1996 he joined Tecnomen (Ireland, Finland) where he developed telecoms software for paging systems.

In 2000 he joined the start-up Basis Communications (Ireland, USA) which was soon acquired by Intel Corporation. In Intel, Mark designed and developed complex real-time embedded software systems for Intel’s range of IXP network processors.
